Shoe Making Sneakers Course at UAL

During a shoe-making course at the University of the Arts London (UAL), I explored the complete process of designing and crafting a pair of sneakers. I began by sketching my own sneaker design onto a last, developing custom patterns and selecting appropriate upper materials. After cutting the leather, we proceeded to stitch the upper and shape it on the last. In the final stages, we even constructed our own sole units and attached them to the sneakers.

This hands-on approach, enriched by detailed demonstrations and expert guidance, provided me with a comprehensive understanding of sneaker design and production, using both traditional and industrial techniques.
